Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) has been identified as the two most backward groups of Indian Society. They include all the castes, races or tribes, which have been socially, economically and educationally backward.According to the UGC policy the SC / ST cell in our college is established to remove discrimination between the students based on caste and religion. The cell also help the students to get all kind of benefits like scholarships, government benefits etc. A periodical meeting will be conducted in the college campus regarding the progress of SC / ST students and for the development of the students.

Objectives

• To provide the mechanism to redress the grievance of SC/ST students, if any
• To ensure provisions of an environment where all such students feel safe and secure
• To aware the SC/ST students regarding various scholarships program of State Govt. and UGC.
• To counsel and guide SC/ ST students and help them to manage academic and personal issues of college life effectively.
